I just finished the 16 hour task of replacing my leaky heater core. Had I taken heed to the warnings on this forum I would have probably had someone else do it. It was quite an adventure to say the least. I am now intimately acquainted with the inner workings of my dash board. AND I only had one screw left when I was done putting it back together.

The only advice I would give to anyone trying this on their own would be to start from the driver side and work right.

Sixteen hours?!?!? Yikes! I feel your pain. How many actual days was that sixteen hours spread out over? And how far in did you realize that you had reached the "point of no return"? Hope it ended up okay.

Damn, two more hours and you could've had in enough time to replace the motor in a taurus V6!
