Recently just got a 06 Expedition as a backup vehicle & I’m looking for the best sounding exhaust & anything else that’ll make it look better or perform better. Thank you!

Not too much available performance wise. You can get a CAI, general tuning chips and maybe a supercharger. Swapping the mechanical fan for an electric fan setup may get you some performance gains. Find someone that can properly tune it with a dyno and you might get some. At nearly 6k pounds it will never be a performance vehicle.

Exhaust sound is subjective. Magna flow cat back is the only performance exhaust I can think of.

Looks, well that is entirely subjective. You need to decide on what you want. Lifted, lowered, stock, wide wheels/tires, ride quality, paint, grille, nerf bars, lights etc... Still there are not a great deal of options to choose from for the Gen 2 Expedition.

If I were here, you would know it !
look into da light !

LED's everywhere....heads/fogs/turns/park/3rd brake light/puddles if applicable....which will help with the appearance part, as well as improve your safety too :)

Depending on the current color scheme of your Expy, some folks here seem obsessed with de-chroming the trim pieces for some reason, either with a plastic wrap, dip, or paint...ie window pillars, door handles, grills, name badges/lettering ect....

And yes, you can change the tires/wheels/brakes/shocks, raise or lower the suspension, but those mods are a bit more involved, because when you change the geometry, you have to maintain clearances & make adjustments for speed/rpm/handling ect....

However, there are many threads here on almost every possible mod, so do a search & have fun :)

Haha, I have looked into da light, I wear the darkest sunglasses I have been able to find to drive at night now due to the modern headlights being so bright and often very poorly aimed/adjusted. The downside to the sunglasses is I can no longer see animals decreasing safety for me. I have never felt like my 2004 with halogens lacked for light output.
