Best way to conduct parasitic draw testing

can anyone in detail explain in their opinion the best way to do it ? Also how are you using the multimeter (not extremely familiar with one) ?

Also, I hear that the doors need to be closed for the truck to enter sleep mode. If I open the door and close the latch with a screwdriver will it work? Because my fuse box is on the foot of my passenger seat.

Maybe you should visit the Electrical Section here on the site, specifically the stickies and learn a thing or two. You need to understand basic dc electrical before trying to troubleshoot electrical problems. Those who don't are just parts tossers - until they finally get the right one.
