Blend door broken?

Swapped the front blend door actuator, still can't switch from heat to cold. Dorman repair kit or Ford OEM door seem unavailable. Thinking of going to a self service junk yard and cutting open the duct to get a good part. Any suggestions? Thanks, all

Before you do that, check for a broken or leaking vacuum hose under the hood. By the firewall behind the battery. At least that was the problem with mine when I couldn't get the heated or cooled air to come out of anything but the floor vents. I don't know if your problem is related to mine, but couldn't hurt to check.
