My air conditioner/heater blower will not turn off. I can adjust temp and direction of air fine, but when I turn the system off with the off button, the blower doesn’t turn off. It stops when the car is off though. Any ideas on what the cause is? Truck is a 2010 Limited EL with 135K miles, and this just started this week. Thanks!

Don’t know if it’s related, but I did replace the blower motor connector earlier this year because mine was melted. Seems to be working fine though.

I found the answer here -
For a different gen, but problem is the same. A $40 blower motor resistor later, and it works perfectly.

I hope you’re right, cause my 2012 is doing the same thing. Fan stuck on one speed and only turns off if you turn it off on the dashboard and then turn the vehicle off and back on again. I’ve also been smelling an acrid odor in the passenger compartment is I leave the vehicle parked for a couple of days. So replacing that resistor and connector may be the ticket! Thanks!
