So I had a plug blow out a couple days ago, and to my surprise it was the one that was sleeved under warranty by Ford. The sleeve blew out with the plug.
I threaded it back in, the threads barely held. I installed a new coil and have driven close to 100 miles so far. It makes a rattle on startup now and a loud tick while running. Also I can hear a hissing noise now so I think that cylinder has very little compression. Needless to say I want to fix this permanently.
I hope to repair using Time-Sert but I cannot find someone who has the kit. Is there a way to rent the kit? Also what is the best way to determine what size I need to tap the hole to at this point?
