As the title says, I'm debating between keeping the SYNC Bluetooth or switching to the Alpine's internal BT system. My biggest concern is voice & call quality, and the quirks of trying to configure the SYNC system through the Alpine and iDataLink module. I'm leaning toward the Alpine, but wish the mic could be better integrated into the interior, and of the same quality as the Ford mic.

All opinions are welcome!

The SYNC in my 2013 has been great. Call quality is really good and navigating hands free is good also.

I tried the SYNC again this morning, and its very clear. The Alpine's BT phone is scratchy, almost sounds like its overpowering the speakers. I'm going to stick it with it, even though I can't configure some of the SYNC's features (911 assist). Plus I won't have the aftermarket mic hanging out in the truck.
