Anyone know if the Ford F-150 Lightning Brake rotors, caliper and caliper mounts will bolt on to the '03 Expedition? Or do we have to wait until the new F-150 Lightning replacement comes out?

Just read a thread in the General Discussion forum about some people experiencing early brake rotor warpage.

Are these rotors solid or vented for both the front and rear?

I'd check, but I just recently purchased a vehicle and haven't picked it up yet (out of state on business).

Vented. Radially.

No, the Lightning's will not bolt up. They are 5 lug. We 03 Expy's have 6 lugs.

I would think the aftermarket is the way to go.

Try www.frozenrotors.com or www.appliedrotortechnology.com

I have A.R.T. rotors and pads on my Excursion and they ROCKED!!!

Dean, the owner, uses OEM rotors and pads and then cyrogenically treats them. You could probably send him a replacment set and have him do his magic to them... :D

Sounds good. I actually woudn't mind having them slotted.

Cross drilled is okay, but I don't think I need since I'm not towing a boat or anything nearly that heavy.

Thanks for the info.

You're right, I forgot about the 5 lug to 6 lug changeover.
