Hey Guys I wanted to to share this with you...My brother in law whom we are staying with here in Tennessee has a business and he builds high performance brake boosters for hot rods, trucks,etc...This unit replaces the existing Vacuum booster and runs off the power steering pump. I'm having him build one for my Expo as I have always thought the brakes have felt mushy. I agree that the Expedition requires more foot pressure for the same stopping power as my other vehicles. I had to stomp on the brakes to avoid a moron last week, though, and it stopped on a dime. I'm not sure what the difference is between normal braking and hard braking, but the Expy is pretty impressive when you've got to bring it to a stop really fast.

I have seen this product work on many hot rods with big cams and no vacuum...We just had the Country Music Run come through here and I made a buffet dinner for my brother in law and served 175 people and then got to go just down the street to the Nashville Super Speedway where these guys got to run on the track and do some performance braking...cars equipt with the Hydratech Brake System had better, shorter and more controlled stop times...I have some video I shot at the track I will have to upload....If you would like techical support to answer your questions,

I know what my problem is! My brake fluid is the color of used motor oil! Its jus to much of a pita to change it without the hand pump!

I did a hydro brake conversion in my 79 Bronco because of the big cam and big tires I used a f350 unit and fab it in . Night and day diffference in braking . Love the hydro boost.

Yes, Eliminates the vacuum booster completely and replaces it with a Hydraulic unit...then your master cylinder bolts to it....they supply all the braided hoses and fittings to complete the job...you should either call and talk to Jim or check out the website www.hydratechbraking.com 615-449-8261 I have also attached to videos for the Nashville Super Speedway from this past may when some testing was done....The first one is a High Performance Firebird & Mustang with conventional braking system and you will either does not have a very controlled stop and locks the brakes up....the second video is that of a chevrolet with a Hydratech Braking System...and I tossed in a third with a camaro...both with Hydratech.

Going that way with a pick and pull hydrobooster in my Centurion. In comparison between the Ex and Cent, the Expy is I don't even know the analogy, Lets just say Fred Flintstone stopped better at 75 mph than Clyde the Centurion does at 35 mph.

Curious to see how much one of his hoorah Hydro's is for a 2002 S-duty, that will be my donor.

I think anyone who is mechanical and wants to spend a short afternoon performing an install of this bolt on complete unit and without dealing with brake bleeding or brake fluid...this is the way to go...
