I agree with Dib52, I have polished up aluminum rims many of times in the past. it is alot of elbow grease involved as a drill and cone applicator and or polisher can get only so much of the open area's and spoke ports. Then it requires your elbow grease to do the rest. Mothers in my opinion is the best out there to do the polishing. After all said and done, they can come out real bright. What I also did after the polishing was complete is take a spray can of clear and apply a clear coat on each rim to slow down the exposure of the aluminum to the weather elements and cause oxidation. It works very well in this application.
