I might have to coppy him a little bit when I end up getting my first Gen Expy to build up for my street legal rock crawler.

i tell you what. it aint no rock crawler though. haha but it does have a full spool rear end.

and by the way there is no rear door. he has his spares there.

its what happens when inexperienced driver drive like a 4 wheel drive vehicle means they can ignore ice and snow- I work for AAA and I winch more suv's and trucks out of the middle median more than cars.

You know...It may not be inexperience...it very well could have been Ford Motor Company's fault....Just hear me out...I posted a thread about the over sensitive steering on my Gen-1 and some of you chimed in and said that yours was over reactive and very sensitive....all though I could find nothing documented by Ford, from the items I have read they wanted the steering very sensitive for women drivers to show that the truck was very easy to steer just like a car...in order to move women into the large SUV....I dont know all the young ladies driving habits or skills, but had she been in something smaller or a SUV with steering that was not so sensitive, she may have had a chance....every day I drive mine...I hate the steering even more...especially on a windy day...I feel if i take my eyes off the road for a second, I have to re-steer, counter steer and then steer straight...this reminds me of the bad rap Firestone tires took for Ford on the explorers flipping over....it was not the tires...it was a design flaw in the SUV....all though Ford would never admit that...it didn't take them long to change the suspension design....same with the steering on these trucks....its the one thing I wish I could change...other than the stupid things like spark plug design and things more friendly to work on...but I love my truck....my 2 cents...

thing is that they did change the suspension design. it from t-bars and coils to coil overs and irs. is the steering still bad with the 2nd and 3rd gens?

i know the steering is speed sensitive. it takes a little more grunt to turn the wheel at 65mph then it does at 5mph. i can take the wheel and shake it back and forth at 65 and just shake a little bit. but at 15 the truck shakes like hell.

im just wondering why she was driving in the kitchen.
