carbon hood

im wondering if this will fit perfect without issues?

You can never expect a perfect fit out of the box as most Fiberglass hoods require some sort of trimming/filling to get the fit just right. I do like that hood though.

I'd be cautious about this one. It looks like a regular fiberglass hood that is wrapped with a sheet of pre-preg carbon fiber cloth. I just wonder if they accounted for this additional thickness. If not, then fitment issues could result. Those issues aren't as easy to resolve when dealing with carbon vs fiberglass.

thx tonydiv...if i can find the right cut outs...i'll just wrap my hood in carbon but i havent seen anything i like yet...

In the group I am in at UWM where we make off road racing vehicles, we do a lot of work with composites like carbon fiber. It's really difficult to get a nice finish cosmetic piece like a car hood so wrapping ur hood in carbon fiber probably won't get u the results you want. That finish on the hood shown on the website requires vacuum infusion which can be done at home but requires more than just resin and carbon fiber sheets. I would just buy a professional made product of its a large part like a hood. If carbon fiber is something people are interested in I can post some stuff on it. I am thinking of making some parts my self but nothing as large as a hood.
