I’ll take my chances with the warranty issue if it ever comes about, but one thing for sure is once my warranty is over I’m on my own. I feel a lot better about my odds of many trouble free years after as far as valve coking/ innercooler clogging etc..... problems that I know for sure will be on my dime. Now if you’re someone that trades them in after the warranty is up, then this could be viewed differently. I drive them til there’s nothing left. Who knows we may not have any gasoline powered options in the future anyway..... I’ll keep what I got!A Ford dealership CAN deny your bumper-to-bumper or power train warranty for the engine if you modify it with one of these catch cans. They do not have to “prove” anything - other than your modification. A simple photograph would work - which then is entered into their Ford system and a warranty block would show at any USA Ford dealer.
Then, you must file legal action to force them to honor the warranty. When you acknowledge you modified the engine and or its intake / PCV system - you’ll lose.
