Idk about the part numbers, just from feel driving between the two. But also, from what you and others say about your ccd equipped models, the truck i had never felt bouyant, it didnt sway or bob, and was far from floaty. If anything the body control was so good it was bad at times.

They want them to ride soft as a cloud on normal settings, but if we want to push them, we can click over to sport. The ride and handling in sport is great.

Agreed, i love the steering feel, pickup and sound in sport, bot so much the tranny tune. Thats why they should offer the drive and suspension modes separate. The sport mode with ccd probably rides similar to the base shock setup, but without the hyper aggressive tranny tune. But by how you guys decribe it, i know i wouldve been happier with the ccd than with the base shocks, and if i get another expy, will get one with ccd or air springs. The std shocks are too firm for me and some passengers.

I’m already getting used to the Buick floaty feel. Will very much like to try sport when it’s fixed.

went over some rough ass city streets today. I’ll never get used to the thin sidewalls. CCD might be ok if they offered the 18s with it.

II am in the add the sway bar group, but I have the 3/2 lift, 35” tires, loaded roof rack and tow a lot. I feel Ford did a pretty good job with the settings and modes. I do like the stiffer sport mode but for daily driving it’s just a little to stiff and I always take it out of 4x4. Tow haul firms it up a little and eco is pretty lazy and sloppy. I think normal will be perfect with one sway bar. But I think the rear is the way to go for towing and think the front would be good for cornering. Just won’t know for sure until I try it or Deadman gives use a review.

I'll let you guys know when my bar shows up and I get it in.
They just redesigned the bar, so they are updating it as we speak. It fits the 18-20's, but they aren't quite done with the update yet, so it will be a month before they ship mine......
The rear bar should take care of the handling in my opinion.

I just took a cross country trip and the Sport mode was PERFECT on the highway to tighten up the rear suspension and it was great because we were loaded down in traffic, so the trans shift points were actually perfect. I highly HATE the trans shift points in sport for daily driving tho, they are way too aggressive.

Do all trucks with ccd have the 22s? If some don’t, that might change how some of us perceive things.

Pretty sure it's available on the limited trims and standard on platinum... Could be wrong though.

Navis its standard so 20s or 22s...

The good news is someone was able to defeat it...

It really is a huge oversight not offering an individual mode for drive settings...

No, atleast for the expy, all models equipped with ccd have 22s. The nav for my20 has ccd standard so the base models come with 20s and ccd.

Is it actually defeated? Or they just rolling low and slow with a check engine light on?

They definitely got into the boost on the video... You could hear the turbos spool. CEL could definitely be on though. I just wonder how angry the pcm gets. Just a CEL? Limp mode?

I have confirmation from Vern at Hellwig -

the 2020 bars are the same as the 2018. You’d use #7696 for the front and #7688 for the rear.

Correct, but their early build rear bars were defective and possibly damaging the 2018+ units according to a rep I spoke with. She informed me that they are re-vamping this part so it won't cause any damage and they are backordered for a month because of this. Same part numbers and all, just updating the bar. Glad I waited I guess..... :)
