Changing VCR to DVD

My 02 Expy has a factory installed vcr but my wife wants to change it to a dvd. Is this an easy change out? Can a tv also be installed?

I changed ours with a Blaupunt. Mounted it where the CD changer was (we replaced the HU with a MP3 CD player, so CD changer was less music and pulled it). It is nearly a perfect fit with the exsiting plastic trim. Had to fabricate a spacer to make up for the difference in width to mount it to the factory bracket.

I used the secondary inputs on the overhead, soldering to the back of the PCB instead of pluging into the plugs and seeing wires. This way, I still ahve the VCR too, on input one, and the DVD on input two.
