Disable Startup 3 Chimes using Forscan

I've searched and found a reference saying that you can disable the startup 3 chimes by changing this:

720-02-03 XXXX X2XX

My wife's 2017 Ford Expedition Limited has the following:

720-01-02 240B 1069

but if I change it to:

720-01-02 240B 1269

then the write fails with an "incompatible" message.

Has anyone successfully done this?
