I've used Monroe's and have been happy with them, but I haven't tried the no-names.
Mine is second gen so it's a little different. But I've had great experience with the Monroe quick struts, bad experience with no name amazon struts. Although Detroit Axle has impressed me with their wheel hubs for my 2001 Ranger. They're probably acceptable but I would compare the price to the Monroes.
