Continuous misfire on same coil pack

2000 Ford Expedition. Keep having misfire on #7 - change coil pack - misfire again - change coil pack - misfire again. What else could be causing misfire?

Have you changed the plug, or check the wires to the COP?

yes all plugs replaced and wires checked. wires have power

Does it throw a code or just run rough?

Have you swapped coils with one you know is working fine, or just replacing it with a new one?

check the wires going to the coil for rub throughs. also ck to make sure the injector connector is seated.
