Just starting a random topic thread, it's been kinda boring here lately, no interesting topics beside repair issues. Beside the fact someone (no names pls) here in converting their expy into a tank and parking it in a spot a geo metro would struggle with nothing else magical has occurred.

Well anyways I'll start...

Today I watched the movie "the revenant" and it sucked. reminded me of "the gray" but that movie was epic in comparison.

Bedrck, you need one of these man, you really do

And Mr. Tank you... Well it's self explanatory

The Grey was complete crap, but I quite liked The Revenant.

I haven't seen either. I think I have the Revenant on my DVR though.

Agree: this place has been slow lately. The other day I actually went onto the Ford Expedition Club's Facebook page. But it didn't take long after seeing a bunch of "front end Friday" and "side shot Saturday" posts to remind me why I put that page on ignore.

I troll the Excursion sub-forum on ford-trucks.com. They are pretty active. Which is weird because the newest Excursion is what? 10 years old now? The Expedition sub-forum is virtually dead.

Man look at the excursion drivers and look at the expy drivers as they pass you by, excursions are usually men and not above 50 while 90% of expys I see are driven by soccer moms and whoever decided to rent one from enterprise. Men are more active with their cars compare to women who are more active at complaining about men being into their cars.

So me and the wife and kids went to a McDonalds that has a play place, we found an empty table and sat and my kids ran off to play. then two minutes later another family comes in and the woman comes up to my wife with an attitude saying we always sit here when we come can you move along now. man did that trigger the hulk inside me or what I got up and told her if you don't turn around now and walk away then they'll have to surgically remove my foot out of your ass. Her husband wanted to defend his wife honor and stood up to me but he quickly realized I was twice his size half his age and quickly apologized and folded under pressure. They left shortly after but you can obviously tell the wife was the one wearing the pants in the relationship. I know everyone here can relate cause if you insult me I could care less but if you insult my wife or kids I'll break your neck before you even finish the sentence.

Hmmmm, is a red addition to your trailer hitch coming for Christmas?

My body english and facial expressions do my talking for me. Could be the Third ***** coming out.

On a different note, I watched a few episodes of Falling Water. . . have a hard time with following the story line. Right now it is in the recycle bin.

Yes and no, it's red but it's an accessory (towing Shackle) I tow people out if they're stuck in the snow. One person pulled me out and I was very grateful and have since been doing the same thing. I call it my good deed for the day

Dude, it was THEIR table? Screw that!
The funny thing is, you went through a verbal scenario of entitlement like I went through a parking scenario of entitlement.

YOU STOOD UP for what was right..... Kinda like I did huh?

Just got home a few minutes ago, I'm off my night job tonight, gonna go clean up the look of the loose coax wire in the living room with some coax nail in clips and spend some time with the kiddies before they go to sleep.

Sweet it finally snowed by us, 4" on the ground and it's the sludgy type of snow so you know my back is officially broken now after shoveling the driveway.

Just got informed my wife's minivan doesn't have any working washer pumps (front or rear) there's no fuses to these things and i knew the back didn't work but now I guess it's time to shop for a new set.... Can you guess who's the sucker that has to fix it?

Also just engaged 4x4hi & low and they both work on the expy so I'm ok and ready to tackle the snow.

Q: what do you guys recommend, a 2 stroke or 4 stroke snow blower? Kinda already not in the mood of shoveling next time it snows.

This will be my first winter with a snow blower: my parents became snow birds this year and have a house in Florida so I inherited theirs. But I haven't used it yet since it hasn't snowed enough to warrant shoveling. I also just moved into a "new" house with a 3 car garage (and therefore a 3 wide driveway) so it'll be nice to have. It's a 4 stroke with an electric start.

My gut tells me to go with a 4 stroke. Probably more expensive but also easier to start and no oil/gas to mix and in my experience, 2 strokes don't run as well when its cold.

We rarely get snow in DFW but when we do, people lose their minds and panic. It's funny as shit.
Me, being a snowboarder from Cali originally am one of the only (proactive) *****'s and slap my chains on all four.

I end up being the good guy and helping yank people out of the ditches.

Those 4 strokes look massive man, my drive way isn't that big for something like that. 2 car wide can fit 4 on each row and no side walk on my side of the house. Might go with a 2 stroke seeing the sizes and prices

There's also electric (plug in) snow blowers. Not sure what type (how heavy) and how deep of snow they are good for though.

The electric version of any power tool is usually shit. Not to mention having to deal with cords.

Electric snow blower is like an electric lawn mower, it's just a matter of time before you run over the cord.

I'll take my electric corded string trimmer any day over my old 2 stroke trimmer.

But yes, I have had to fix an extension cord while using my hedge trimmer...... damn thing zipped right through it.
