When I pulled the water crossover pipe off I found this… cracked mounting surface that allows the gasket to pucker away from the edge of the mounting surface.

Should’ve did this one first… this is the area the antifreeze was pooling. So the drip was not very evident. It wasn’t until I put the truck on ramps that it started dripping pretty good… at the back of the motor. I was a little confused as to where it was coming from at first. Further investigation led me to the above.

I got a replacement manifold from the junkyard. Needed one pretty fast as I am usually on the road working. So had to use whatever I got my hands on first while I was home so the daughter could use the truck.

I know this is old but I want to add something that may be helpful in the future for others. That pic looks like it is from a 2V. On my 2012 3V the crossover assembly is separate. Once you remove all the bolts the left side won't quite want to come out. If you look just underneath where the left arrow is, you can file down that little flange about 1/8" and it will give you enough space to pull the crossover assembly. I think there is enough flange to remove 1/4" so you should have no worries with removing some material. It beats removing the whole intake. I am referring to the pic in Ellison Brown III's post.
