Hey all. Brand new here. And brand new to Fords. My girlfriend has a 2018 Expedition Limited that has the intelligent door unlock feature (the door handle unlock sensor lol). Tonight, I was locking all the cars. I had the keys in my hand to my 2009 GMC truck (has chip in key) and with the same hand I pull on the door handle of the expedition and notice it unlocked it () A totally different key that’s a different brand vehicle just unlocked this lol. So I tried it a second time and boom… wrong key unlocked it again. I do NOT like this at all. So this totally caught me off guard and worries me a bit with very possible break in or theft! Has this happened to anyone and what is the fix? Want to avoid disabling the sensors.

Still could've sensed it.
Try moving keys further and retesting.

I know. This sounds extreme but if you have a ten box or you could use a cooling pan.
Put it in that with the lid on. Then go and test it.
