I recently got my 99 exp cats cut off, because they were resrticting the airflow and would not let the engine build power under a load. Now I get these codes from Oriely's P0136, P0156, P1131, P0141....any help ??

You will continue to get them as you should of replaced them. The O2 sensors are the culprits of the codes as the O2's are unable to properly read the temps and air and fuel mixtures correctly, before and after the cats. Only way to correct this is to put back a replacement hi-flo or a OEM cats back in.

ok so the problem is the fact that I do not have the cats in the system...well had to do what the cash flow allowed me to do in the mean time. Thanks !

Since the cats are missing in the path of the O2 sensors, the sensors are more than likely reading a rich misture as the O2 reads the oxygen and fuel mixture as it exists the manifolds and the O2's on the front side of the cats reads the initial oxygen and fuel ratio, then as it passes thru the cats, the second set of O2 sensors picks up the final ratio reading and then sends the reading to the ECU to make proper adjustments to the fuel adn air curve to be burns to create optimal economy and power. With out those cats in place, you are more than likely throwing your ECU a constant curve ball and is burning rich constantly.

I do understand the whole sensor before and after the cat..and more than likely running rich. But, one of the codes when I looked it up P1131, I think, said that one bank was running too lean..is this possible as well ??

One issue can lead to others popping up, multiple functions work in conjunction with one another. So yes, this cat issue can create other issues to be mis-reading.

P0136, P0156 are circuit malfunction codes for the rear O2 sensors.
P1131 is the front O2 sensor temp calc problem
P0141 is the rear sensor temp calc problem

The front O2 sensor sets/adjusts your fuel mixture and the rear O2 sensor checks for a difference between the F/R to confirm your cat is working.

Nothing will be running lean, probably rich.

Until you get some cats back on and some working O2 sensors, you will have poor fuel economy and the Check Engine Light will be ON.

Thanks Doug, would it be wise to wait till I put the cats back on to get the sensors? I would think that being the codes did not come on before they would probably go away after the cats were put back on?

Well if you have the sensors still attach I would assume that they are still in working order. So if you were to replace the cats, you should be OK and you will most likely see a moderate increase in economy. Once you reinstall the converters, reset the CEL and go from there.

just put cats on the front... I don't have rears and no codes for me... just my .02

That is advice to consider and try, but that only true to be effective if the cats up front are sufficient enough to filter the oxygen and fuel mixtures being emitted within the tolerable curves set forth in the program of the emission management. If the emitted gases emitted thru the one set of converters are not sufficient enough, then you will still receive a CEL. Every application is different to ones own vehicle, due to the parts used and the condition of those parts.
