Okay. I have been out from under the hood of the expy since October. Today, I knocked out A LOT. I have gotten the right cyl head off the truck since it was almost pouring oil/coolant out from the area. now, i want to do this proper and replace all the right parts for this 300k motor since everything looks good in the cylinders. no wear at all that I can see, still have perfect cross hatch as well so far. only thing is the cast number on my cyl head says 5.4 rf-75e 6090-c20a I just need to know what timing chain, guides, tensioners and what a good reman cyl head I should get since these need rebuild due to oil leaking from the valve guide seals and right as I was almost done the one I have off fell over and landed in gravel got a nice mark that can be fixed on the deck but it def needs worked now.

also, for any who are wondering, somehow I got 6/8 exhaust studs off no problems. the rear two were broken since I bought it at 256k miles.

Check with Dover Cylinder Head in Atlanta. I've used them in the past without any issues.
Rock Auto for the chains & guides. Since you will in the engine you may want to install a new oil pump & pickup. Get the cam locking tool also. I used two of them, one on each bank.

Ill check them out one funds are available. do they rebuild my heads or can I exchange heads for "same day" service so to say. they aren't too far from me and I run a delivery route that goes right by there off of 285. i am almost sure I can grab the tractor w/o the pass seat and run em by lol.

I went the exchange route. They are a phone call away for the turnaround time if you want yours done instead.

exchange rt it is. do you remember what the price OTD was for yours? I only really NEED one done but I will be doing both since they both have 305k miles and looking at the spark plugs from last change at 295k miles and these at 305k the oil ash build up is telling me to do both

Don't remember the cost since it was a couple of years ago and a different engine.
You always do both heads to keep the compression on the banks "somewhat equal" and avoid unwanted harmonics.
