Dash Cams & Sirens

This post is for you guys who are Emt's, fire fighters, etc...I found a guy on e-bay who had a auction on Kustom Signal Eyewitness dash cams for 150.00 complete...he also has about 375 Federal Smart Sirens for sale that he bought from the Virginia State Police...he is in Chattanooga Ten. I am going to buy a dash cam from him....I told him I would forward his link to you guys...His name is Tracy and number is 423-326-0038 the ebay link is just for the 2 pieces, but he has 8 complete units...and Im sure this guy has all kinds of stuff...I plan on going this week...

Screw the camera. I dont want anything recording what Im doing. Thats something that can always be used against you, but then again can help you too. Hmmmmmm

BSO dont have cameras? I have seen first hand how they can save your ass...and if you aint doin nothin you shoulnt be, you got nothing to worry about....Funny true story....a dep in a local department in Michigan had a camera in his car, so he decided to stop at the video store and pick up a **** flick....well late at night when things slowed down he popped this in and started watching it on the color monitor...everything was going great until he got a radio call and had to code to an accident and when he flipped the over heads and siren on, the lights and siren interface made the camera go into record mode which now posted this officers unit number date and time on the **** tape...to make a longer story short...he took the tape back to the video store not knowing anything and turned it in. about 2 weeks later he got called in the Sheriff's office and got busted...3 days off with out pay...the video store clerk got an angry customer who said there was something wrong with the tape and when the clerk reviewed the tape, he call the sheriff.....DUM ta-da DUM DUUUUM (dragnet theme)
