My 99 4wd Expy has caliper sliders that are fixed on the caliper bracket. They do not screw in or out. Makes it a bear to reattach caliper bracket to caliper during pads replacement. Anyone else encounter this setup? Any tips?

Thank you for answering your own question, rather than simply deleting it. I'm sure there are or will be others who will have the same issue/question and this will help them....

Factory torx bolts that attach front calipers are a T45 plus, not the standard T45. The plus is slightly bigger, and fits snug in the bolt. If you use a regular T45, especially a cheaper one, they'll strip out, and you'll have a tough time getting them out.
