each door has a ajar sensor in the latch.you could disconnect and see if that stop the ajar lt if not you will have to jumper across the connector to shut it off. It all depends on if it is open with the door shut or closed.
I'm looking for the solution to this as well for my 2010 Expedition. I have seen on other forums about cutting a certain wire under the steering column. I also read on an F150 board about removing the speaker behind the dash. Would love to hear if anyone has actually tried either of these on and Expedition.
Yes. My wife and I will run errands while the baby is alseep in the car seat. I pull up to a store to drop her off and the chime wakes the baby when my wife opens her door. This is why I want to disable the chime.
