Interior Alarm disable?

Plse help - I see other threads re int alarm issues . Question : how can I dis-able interior alarm in my 2022 Expee-max when dog moves around in locked car ? I did try the 5 steps in UserGuide // OwnerManual : it did not work .The dog moved , the alarm sounded .PS - we ordered this unit in /22 and have quite enjoyed it for 2+ years of RV towing . Seasonal . It's almost as good in blizzards as our Explorer was .

Did you leave the car running? We left our kids in the running expy for a few min the other day and was wondering if it would go off if we locked it with the fob. Interested in the solution, if there is one.

This is from a the BCM of the F150, but it may be the same here.

I don’t know if your menus are the same as mine, I have the 15 inch screen but if you go into vehicle settings there is one for security or alarm and you can choose perimeter or all sensors. You need to change it to perimeter and you can also set whether you want it to ask you every time on Exit or not.

We have an XLT with the normal sized screen and there's a menu option to disable in those settings as well, though don't recall exactly where. Problem is that wife and I feel like we've done it probably 3-4 times and seems to keep turning itself back on!

That very well may be the case. When I shut my vehicle off, I have the option to use all alarms or perimeter. It defaults to all.
