Apparently this fell off my truck on the right side. One of my coworkers found it on ground and brought it to me. I recognize the undercoating, so I'm pretty sure it came from my truck.

I'm thinking rear AC lines. Do you know if it was front, middle or rear of the truck when it was found? I'll crawl under mine tomorrow and take a look.

I wouldn't worry about it Andy, you're gonna have a hard time finding exactly where it came from plus it's not the kind of separator that has a tree rivet that holds hoses into anything just for spacing and vibration reduction

I looked under the truck on the right side and didn't see anything like that, nor anything that would use that kind of separator. Usually, the plastic snap-type separators are for electrical cabling that don't need to be anchored.

Thanks Bob, the guys at the dealership checked it out while they had it up on the lift and couldn't find anything either. It is actually a rubber snap connector but not like anything
I've seen before either.

I don't think it is big enough for A/C lines going to the rear A/C

Today I lowered & checked the air pressure in the spare on my 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4. There is a very similar piece on the right rear (underneath) that holds the metal a/c lines apart (rear of the RR wheel & tire).

I knew I should have told the to give it back to me. I'll check there when i gets cooler. right now it's 90 but it feels like 101.

Did someone snap it together after they picked it up? How could it fall off the vehicle unless it was unhooked?

This looks like something for shipping.
$50 says not part of an Expydition.

It was handed to me snapped together, but it could have been apart when they picked it up. It did have the same kind of sound deadening undercoating that I have on my truck and it is pretty clean because I always do the underbody wash so I think it was from the truck.

Numerous hose separators, similar, but not the same. Set screw closure vs latch, as shown in your photo. None of these separators would fall off, unless the set screw fell out:

2017 expedition hose separators

Looked, but nothing similar in Electrical components.
