Does the front bumper have to be removed to change low beam and fog lights?

The owner's manual says the front bumper has to be removed to replace the headlight and fog lights bulbs. Have anyone figured out another, simpler, way? Thanks!

To change the housing, yes. To change the bulbs, absolutely not. Just unscrew the flap in the front wheel well.

Back up about three or four pages, and see a YouTube that I posted showing how to do this. Look at about the first four minutes or so.

No need to remove the bumper. Go in through the fender wells as mentioned in the link above. Quick and rather painless.

The fog light bulbs can even be done from under the truck.
