Hey guys I'm back. Brutus has been running very well as of late except for the manifold leak the next problem is when I give it any gas it acts like it doesn't want to go any where. What can cause this problem. It also acts like its slipping.

by going anywhere, do you mean it has low acceleration, or it goes into limp mode?

Low acceleration. Sometimes it seems as if it doesn't want to go above 2500 rpms. I do know that its time for me to do the tranny filter.

Also I found out that the guy I bought him from lol did a lot of work but his wife desided that she wanted a sti.

He did the airbag conversion an rebuilt the tranny and put in a new front diff. But the reason im thinkin bout the tranny filter is because it was sitting for three and a half years not two.

It sounds more like a fuel problem honestly. Otherwise it could be the plugs or cops. Also, when you have a large manifold leak, you lose a lot of back pressure, which in turn slashes torque. That would cause less than satisfactory acceleration.

But when I put my ear near the filler neck I didn't hear any loud or extra buzzing from the fuel pump. Also the fuel filter is new.

Update. When I'm on the gas slightly it drives fine. It's wen I give it moderate to heavey gas the problem starts. It will go to 3000 rpms then down to 2800 then back up, and sometimes it feels really slugish when I'm on the gas.
