Door Lock Wiring

I'm working on installing a Remote Start/Alarm/Keyless in my 01 Expy. At present I have the door locks wired through the inputs to the factory keyless brain, but would like to wire directly to the lock motors so I can retain separate driver/passenger unlocking. My question: What style of door lock wiring does the 01 Expy use?

reverse polarity. the drivers door only wire your looking for is in the drivers kick panel. it is a red/orange wire. it is one of the 2 wires going to the drivers door lock actuator.

Edit: I forgot to ask, can this be used to by-pass the GEM wake up?

good question. i would have to assume that its on the output side of the gem. so i guess it would work. i think if you do this and unlock only the drivers door the gem will still be asleep.
