Hello,

I have a 2019 Expy max XLT.
Could anyone educate me what does the sensor on the driver side PCV hose do?
A quick search came up that it seems to be a cankcase pressure sensor.
What does the ECU do when it reads the sensor output?
By my knowledge, crankcase pressure should be very little and close to atmosphere pressure. That is why it is named PCV.
Is ECO boost engine crank case always under vacuum?

Thank you.

Idk, but when I put my air intake kit on my 16 it would pop code for crankcase system disconnected and I had to get a vent tube insert for it to correct it. More air apparently pushed the PCV numbers higher than allowed and would pop code. Tube and custom tune got it all straightened out!
