Drivers side power window

Just replaced the drivers side window regulator and window is operating but when you close the window in the auto mode when it reaches the top it automatically starts to come back down. Not sure if there is a sensor or an adjustment that will correct the problem. Any ideas?

Usually there is a learning procedure that needs to be followed. Check the forum and on line.

Anyone know why the auto up feature would only work some of the time?

I changed the window regulator on the drivers side of my 09 Expy EL XLT. It had auto up/down before, but since I changed out the regulator it only works if I hold the button down. No more auto. And the regulator I installed was an aftermarket from Advance Auto. No wires go to the regulator. I used the same motor and switch. I tried all of the learning procedures and finally gave up. Just hold the button down to open or close the window. Another note: I have a 2015 Camry with auto up/down and my wife still holds the buttons down.

Already been there, done that multiple times. Including de-initializing and re-initializing the motor.
No work. Thanks anyway.

Try wd40 in the channels that hold the glass in place as it operates. Ensure to wipe any residual spray off afterwards.

Never heard of that initialization before, I'll have to give it a shot this weekend
