I have a 04 Expedition 4.6L and my front driver side window does not roll up, but does roll down. Can anyone help me out with this? All my other windows work and roll up and down just fine.

Take the swtich apart, and clean the contacts with electric cleaner. They may just be dirty.

I did that to mine when I first got it. The contacts were dirty/burned/pitted. I had to scrape them with some sand paper. Also had a worn plastic piece on the driver's switch. It made it hard to find the right position to make the window go up. I ended up swapping a plastic pin/spring from the center of the same switch (each switch has 3 plastic pins/springs). Now it works like brand new, good for another 140K miles.

Hold the button in the up position and slam the door. Worked great for me. I only have to do it once every 2 weeks or so! HAHAHHAHAHHAHHA!

Just had my switch replaced. 100 bucks or so and it works fine. However, it used to have a function where the window would go completely down if you held the window control down for a couple seconds. It no longer does that, I have to hold the button down the entire time to get the window all the way down. Is that a programming issue or did my mechanic sell me the wrong switch?
