DVD issues with 2003 Eddie Bauer edition.

When I place a DVD into the player, it flashes briefly and then the screen goes blank. Everything else seems to function. It will eject and the screen on the dash shows different keys being pressed. ????

Welcome to the site. With the unit being that old most just replace it.
