its time to relace my headlights on my y2k exPi. I have heard more than a few bad reviews on the ebay halo style w leds. are there any good ones out there. i like the one Piece look and the led w halos would really uPdate the front end. but i dont want to bolt on a craP item just to rePlace it down the road. i read about the retro fits but that requires a headlight and the only ones i have are standard two Piece and i want one. IDK just looking for some direction. I would like this exPi to be my first and my last. so i wont be changing vehicles anytime soon.

Also if there is insight into a better aftermarket fog that would be useful too.
thanks
grant

i had 2 sets...chrome/black...as far as style on construction...they've been good for me...the LEDs arent LEDs...just halogen bulbs...the halos are done with halogen bulbs and are very bright...to upgrade you'll need to upgrade them to LEDs...you may need some electrical know how...idk...looks good but not LEDs...halogens but would be good if they were real LEDs....save the extra money and buy OEM headlights from junkyard and have them retrofitted with halos with the vendor on the site or someone online...

good luck with ebay lights... I have a set of "R8 style" ebay lights and half the LEDs died in a year.... but others have had better luck... I'm gonna go back to lightning headlights next

Yea i have no issue with dolling out the cash. I bought the truck cheaP well less money than anything new would have been. so i have no issue sPending the money. that being said i dont want two Piece which is what the y2k oem would be. so i dont thing the retro fit would work unless i bought the ebay ones and sent thm out to your guy to be rebuilt the right way if that is even Poss.

but yea ideally i would like something audiesk very similar to yours. just the oem my year is two iece and that is just a lil tooo retro 4 me

i want one piece headlight most important and i want them to be quality. i have a y2k truck and they have separate corner markers. you said the company you used took your old oem and put halos and leds in fabricating everything inside. can you pm me there number as it seems like that might be the best bet if i want something that will last. does anyone know if ford made a one iece headlight that will fit a y2k expi

I bought a set for my stang, off of ebay and the damn things started condensating so much that you couldnt even wash the car without them taking on water.
Not saying they are all like that, but mine were junk.

idk if they can make it one piece or retrofit your model headlights...our lenses are different so that may cause problems or make it very difficult...check around on ebay or anywhere on the internet for clear lensed headlights and then they should be able to do it and it be viewable/look good....looking at your lights as is...i dont think you'll be able to retrofit them properly...but i'm not the expert...again...i think more successful chances is to find clear lensed lights so you can actually see the bulb, etc

Go with the Lightning Heads and corners, they are a nice clear lense and if you want to retro fit that would probably be the best base start for our 1st GENS. I have the Lightning Heads and corners and just run 8K Hids and love them.

Yes those are them and they are actually EBAY Lightning headlights and corners, i think I paid about $100 for them, they are not a one piece but Damn they give a clean look. I have run the Lightning Lights on all my F150's and Expeditions over the last 8 years or so.
