I just got the dreaded PS manifold leak and need to have new cats welded on anyway, so I'm planning a full exhaust overhaul on my 98 5.4. I know they don't offer much (if any) performance benefit, but I figure if I'm going to replace the PS iron log manifold anyway a couple extra $$s for SS shorties might be worthwhile if they're decent quality. I'm not looking to spend $500 for JBA, etc. but the ebay specials look decent (Tig, thick flanges, etc) for $180 so I'm curious if anyone has experience with them before I take the plunge. TIA.
*edit - In my google search I did run across a thread about installing them on a F150 and the poster didn't seem to have any installation issues.
