VERY nice JE and Congrats on getting another really nice Expy! I had a 03EB with perfect seats, heated and cooled seats and it was very plush....the seats work on the bimetallic principle.....so not ventilated but very quick and plenty hot/cold enough.

You will not clean out those holes because the edges and bottom are dirty & will look darker....vacuum and a soft bristled upholstery brush...but that's about it....still looks great though so I wouldn't worry about that.

Post up some pics when you get a chance!

Drivers seat has dirt in some of the little holes. Not sure what’s the best way to clean it out. Seats were all in great shape overall.
Some of the detailing guys I know use rubber dental picks to clean out the perforated seats. Unfortunately you need to hit every hole and takes a while but it works.

I don't think it would clean out the holes and it might actually put more dirt in them, but the best thing I found for cleaning leather seats is Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner with a soft brush. Recommended by The Seat Shop, who makes replacement covers.

Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner is the best thing I have found for cleaning under the hood too.

Finally have time tomorrow to clean it up and switch everything over....been running crazy the last week plus. Will be nice going from a crew cab 1 ton that rides like a wagon back to the smaller Expedition EL.......who would have thought the EL could feel compact? Well it does now lol.

Plan to put on bug deflector and new ford logo and clean the interior and she should be looking good. I’ll post up some pics of the new old truck tomorrow.

Yeah JE but your timing is perfect...the "week of rain" will be over by then!

It's not that small. People ask me why I drive an Expy being single and all....I tell them I like taking a room with me....

I do have to say the 6.2 in the super duty has become a friend. One healthy sounding/ pulling engine. It averaged me 14 MPG over the last few weeks.

My dad has a pretty loaded up 3/4 ton with the same engine. He’s going to order the new “Godzilla” engine (7.3) next year so that should be interesting.

Of the last 30 days 28 have rained Jeff. We haven’t had sunlight in a while now it gets pretty depressing. They are saying the whole summer is going to be this way.

Kerry put down the fertilizer on my lawn Saturday morning after we replaced a shower valve....while I patched the hole in the drywall. Pretty nice of her since she has her own home to take care of too.

So I'm loving this rain....next week I'll have green weeds instead of pale yellow ones!! Yea Jeff!

LOL

Uhm yeah it's a Ford V8.... NEVER clean under the hood of a Ford V8

Or if you absolutely gotta, use some kinda wipe

What is recommended for new rubber?

I am a fan of the new Pirelli Scorpion AT tires. I think that is what I am putting on mine when tire time comes around.

As a bonus since Pirelli is trying to break into the AT market, their tires are relatively cheap still. I think they were down to around $600 for 4 installed at Sam's Club last time I checked.

Floor mats are gross still but ran out of time today. Not a fan of the hvac, my XLT was so much easier to use with the dials.

I took the liberty of removing the gold running boards so I don’t have snow build up/ rust issues again. Added bug deflector and new ford logo to spruce up front end as well.

That's a SWEET looking truck JE, very nice!

The EB is a really nice setup....plush and comfy while still being able to pop into 4L and take on 2ft of snow!

Nice pics too!

I have AC seats on my 2007 Expy EB and the air is extremely cold. If it's not cooled by the AC than the design should win a Nobel peace prize for keeping you dry in 100+ temp.

I have to agree, my seats get cold to the touch....I don’t think they are ventilated they must use A/C or be electrically cooled somehow. It gives you a chill if you leave them on.
