Trim levels by VIN number

Here are the codes of each 3rd gen trim level (5th, 6th, and 7th digits from the VIN), they are beneficial where you can summarize a whole car trim confidence in only 3 digits (for example, Expedition XL EL 4WD, would be K1G, 4 words in only one word), also it would help when buying a car to make sure that this is the same trim level mentioned by the seller. (Note: I realized that the King Ranch never had a dependent code configuration, in which at first it had the same code as the Eddie Bauer, then the same as the XLT, I still don't know why)

2007-2010:

XLT 2wd: U15
XLT 4wd: U16
EL XLT 2wd: K15
EL XLT 4wd: K16

Limited 2wd: U19
Limited 4wd: U20
EL Limited 2wd: K19
EL Limited 4wd: K20

Eddie bauer 2wd: U17
