Does anyone know if the electrical system is the same for a 12+ F150 and Expedition? Particularly with the starting system? I have been virtually given a remote start system for a 2013 F150 it is only a couple digits off for the 12 Expedition remote start bi-directional oem part numbers. Can I make it work or should I sell it and get the right one. The remote start is brand new in the box and plastic bags still factory sealed.

Check the install manuals for both units. You should be able to tell if there are any differences that way.

sorry, really hard to help with the details provided. A single digit difference in part number could be worlds apart and does not necessarily mean anything.

The part number I have is BT4Z 19G364A: Fits 2011-2014 Edge
2011-2014 F-150
2011-2014 Super Duty
I do not think it will work for me. I need a AL1Z 19G364A:
Fits 2011-2014 Expedition
with SYNC
So I have one for sale now, brand new in the box oem. MSRP: $300.00 MAKE OFFER $$$
