Exhaust comparison

I have a 2003 Expy with a 4.6 and ive been looking at the magnaflow and flowmaster cat back exhausts and im just curious to know what you all have and what might be better in terms of sound and performance i don't have a preference for either brand i would just like to hear from the forum to help me make a choice thank you i appreciate it.

there are many people on here with different exhausts. id say look on youtube to get a feel for what they sound like. i have a spintech catback here is a vid of what it soundslike

I was going to do a Flowmaster on mine and they told me it would sound like a Mustang. Instead they pulled the muffler off and slid a piece of pipe in there so I could hear it straight piped. It sounded great, no raspy or crackling from the exhaust. Very throaty and deep so all I had them do was weld a piece of pipe in and put a nice dual walled stainless tip on the exhaust, I couldn't be happier. Btw my truck has the 4.6 in it.

do you get that droning sound like for example on the freeway? and does it sound like it might be too much for city driving? you have me very intreged on doing this to my own expedition and could save me a cool 800 dollars for the magna flow cat back! hahaha
