Experience with Expy after mid-size SUV?

I am 6'5" tall
Most of the midsize SUV's do not have enough headroom or legroom for me to be comfortable in them
Traded my 2011 F150 for a loaded 2013 ford flex
Always hit my head on door sill when getting in & my head always rubbing headliner when sitting up straight
Legroom was marginal when sitting up straight
Had to recline seat back to get comfortable & that reduced legroom even more
Then no room behind me for passenger in second row
Traded Flex for 2016 Explorer sport to try it
Not any better for headroom & legroom
Traded it for 2018 EXPY
2018 EXPY much better
Can get in it without hitting my head on door jamb
Head room & legroom much better
Same as my F150
seems most vehicles are designed for people much shorter than me nowadays:(

Cutting thru my airport parking garage last night I noticed Hertz had about a dozen 2018's lined up. Seems like there were 3-4 at Enterprise as well. If you are trying to gauge if its the right vehicle for you, without a salesman buckled in the back seat guiding you on his designated route and overwhelming you with well-scripted information, I'd recommend just renting one for a day or two. During the work week Priceline has killer "last minute deals" - locally a full-size SUV is $80/day. Just tell them at the counter you want an Expedition and chances are good they'll oblige.

I've always thought a realtor should allow you to camp out in a house for a few days before making an offer. Unless its my house, of course.

Great idea! I actually drove an Expy again yesterday. Love it. Trying to get an allocation to order before the deadline hits...
