External leak

Getting coolant on #3 and 4 causing misfire. Can’t find the leak, intake manifold been replaced already.

Oh yeah, only when it’s heats up.

Replace the heater hose. The quick-connect fitting over those 2 cylinders is leaking coolant. It then pools up & drains down in through the vent hole in the plug boot.

Feel the heater hoses that run above the passenger side valve cover. Very common for coolant to leak from them or the hot water control valve in the heater hose line just above cylinders 3 & 4 . If you don't find the leak easily there, pick up a coolant system pressure test kit at either Amazon or Harbor Freight and pressurize the coolant system by handpump and look for the leak that way.

This is to Hamfisted I have been on here almost a year and I always look for and really take your advice . One question are you a Ford technician or have you been or just a good mechanic. My hat is off to you sir Jeffrey Booth
