Wait, how'd you install it. Do you need to connect to every speaker? Or is it just adding a sub/amp?

basically from my understanding is it replaces running RCA cables from the deck to the amp... so you tap it into one of the rear speaker wires and the converter has a signal to the amp... then install the amp as normal except the RCA cables go from the converter to the amp..

someone chime in if I am wrong please...

yeah, i tapped the drivers rear door speaker before it went into the door right by the seatbelt. you run the speaker wires into the LOC(line out converter) then the RCA from the converter to the amp. the rest of the install is like a normal set-up.

on both my trucks i mounted the amp to the box and my LOC is also right there. i did this so i could easily remove the sub to haul crap.

my amp is under the driver side rear seat... that way the seat folds down and nothing can hit the amp... then box is easy to remove

i've had this 12 sitting around for awhile, along with a off brand amp. i'd been wanting to install it in my expy since its the only truck that did not have a sub in it. so i picked up a line out converter and some power cable and wired it up today. nice to have alittle bass in the thing i will say that. nothing like the 15 i have in my excursion but a nice little bump. everything else is stock, i like my factory HUs and stuff i know i'm weird.
