DR3W, personally, I would have kept the 2 subs isolated from each other. But, that is just me. I don't want one sub to affect the other. This will be especially noticeable if you ever have a sub fail as the working speaker will end up pushing out the other as it pulls in, effectively cancelling the sub sound. You will get some sound, but it will drop significantly.

Okay, thanks thermo. If i dont like it or if that happens i could just seal the center back up. :) BUt thanks for the heads up.

yeah why is that? looks like you did a dam good job on it too. im jealous. wish i could do that. im too much of a perfectionist. and i would never get it done. haha

If youre gonna mount the box just like it is in the pic then youll need something to keep it from sliding towards the tailgate on acceleration and tipping towards the center of the truck on some turns (since itll be front heavy with the subs mounted. If it were me i'd use these brackets (or something similar) and mount them on either of the sides that are out of sight. Like 2 on the back so they can slide under the plastic trim and 2 screwed in on the side that mounts against the seat. That sub wiring will work great, i have each of my type r's wired that way. Box looks real nice too, good work.

Money!! haha Im saving up for an amp and a stereo. Im thinking of sooo many ways to lock it down. haha Still dont know :)
