Firestik Antenna

Can you guys send a link to a spring or something that can provide more flex for the antenna? I totally almost broke it putting the truck in the garage today. The Firestiks will NOT bend more than about 20 degrees for anyone who was wondering.

I have the vertical door jamb mount that walnuts has.

even ebay has them... but I dont have a spring but then again mine doesnt fit into a garage and when I go to my buddies shop I have 20ft doors... another option is a quick disconnect... but then you gotta worry about people with sticky fingers

only problem with springs is that they can beat the crap outta your paint since they flex so much.... but tennis ball can solve that

you can use a ball mount and tilt the antenna a bit or use a spring but it can eat up your paint...

and when in freezeing conditions the antenna's get really heavy and slap the hell out of your car...

use a tennis ball. ive seen a lot of tennis balls on ants. usually whips, but it would still be a good idea.

Yea dont get the spring that panda posted. It says up tp 5' ant. I have a 5' ant. and it never stayed upright so i never used it. Instead it should say 3' ant. MAX.

SHUT UP! and no. ive never seen anyone play with them. and we have weird people down here in ob. you thing bums smell? come down here and tell me that these "Traveler" dont smell! but they usually dont mess with people shit. unless their ass holes and go into starbucks and steal your laptop. and whats wrong with the spring? you have a 5 ft? your just trying to get the biggest! haha i can see your point though. it might not be rated for a 5ft, but then again who needs a 5 ft? 4 ft is long enough.

Funny thing though, Im serious about my post. Our K9 guys keep tennis balls wedged between the roof and the light bar (well this was when the had crown vics) and everytime the dog was out in public people would see the ball and wanted to play, not a good idea.
