I picked up our new Expedition Timberline a few weeks ago and immediately went to work making it “mine” and correcting some of the atrocities committed by Ford.
After that she was ready for the first family road trip and some dirt. Overall i am very pleased with the Timberline (compared to our previous 2019 Limited). My only gripe so far is the instant seatbelt warning chime that comes on the second u get moving. And I would like more physical buttons for climate control.
- Chrome trim got deleted with 3M tape
- Added Expedition badge on the front hood
- Replaced the wimpy looking stock Goodyear territory tires with Toyo AT3 in 275/70r18 load E
- Wheels need more negative offset for a more aggressive stance. I decided to keep the stockers (like the look) but will be adding 0.375-0.5” spacers.
- OEM chrome lug nuts were replaced with Black single piece gorilla
- Installed Husky floor mats (swapped from our ‘19 expy before we traded her in)
