Hello. I am trying to replace the DVD player that came on this truck when it was purchased. It is an '03 Expy LT (manufactured in 08/03), and it came with an Audiovox unit. That DVD player broke, so I purchased a newer, more compact unit from the same manufacturer (with a bigger screen) in hopes of making installation easy. Well, things didn't go as planned. The old DVD player had a connector built in for the amp(?), which the new unit does not have. As a result, I have power, video, and dome lights from the new unit, but no sound. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a way to fix this. I will post pics of the amp connector, and its corresponding male plug on the old DVD player. I'm hoping there is an adapter I can purchase. I also have the option of replacing the head unit, but I will probably need an adapter. Any help is greatly appreciated.
