Whats up guys? I have a quick question. I thinking about adding the flowmaster super 44 muffler on to my 98 5.4 expy. When I purchase the muffler I'm to just get it welded on by a muffler shop correct? I don't need to replace the whole exhaust system do I?

keep in mind the super 44 is shorter, so the shop will have to add an extension pipe to make it fit properly.

BTW, I had one of those on my last SUV and had tons of interior resonance. I think it was louder in the cab than outside the vehicle! I think around 35-40MPH was the where the drone was really bad which is usual city driving speed. Good luck!

nope. its about the same.

if flowmaster is what you want then try a 50 series SUV or 70 series. Go to their website and look at the charts they have, it shows you by model the interior/exterior noise levels by comparison of all of their models.

It will honestly depend on when you go, what type of pipe you use to add to it, etc.

You can call around and get quotes easily enough.
