Joe, if you have an XLT or higher trim package, odds are the wiring is there. But, if you have one of the XL models (very few of them out there), then the wiring is more than likely not there. Please keep in mind that you are going to need to also upgrade the headlight switch, relay in the engine bay fuse box, and install a fuse in the dash fuse box to make it all work.

When the lights are on, the light switch pulls out a bit. Is that how the fog lights are turned on? I have the XLT package but no fogs either. Also, is the wiring there for the overhead console ya think?

Ok so I will need the fog headlight switch and the relay got it. Gonna try and use the stock wiring for my grille mount fogs. I'm building a custom grille like the mustang with 2 fogs in it. I'm pretty excited about it.these are the hella h4 I'm gonna use.

Haven't picked out a bulb yet. They are just a housing. They take a standard H4 automotive bulb so I should have some choices on wattage. Gonna try and figure out what wattage the stock fogs are and go from there. If anyone knows what the stock fog wattage is please share. if its just way to small I will have to run my own relay and wiring.

jrjr, unfortunately for you, all of the factory headlight switches pull out, whether or not they have the internals for the fog light switch. So, just because the switch pulls out doesn't mean anything.

Yea I had to do that to unlock the assembly when removing the cluster. I figure its a switch as well though. Will have to check for an extra set of contacts in there sometime. Thanks

You are 100% correct. This is common throughout all the Ford family of trucks,

I installed a set of fogs on a XL F250 the switch pulled out but there were no contacts in there for the lights we added. I bought a new switch that had the contacts for the fogs and wired them in. One thing to remember is that they will only come on when using the low beams via this method. You can put a jumper in the switch to use them with the high beams too, this in conjunction with the brite box mod and you will be sportin some mega lighting in the front.
